The ritual called shaving is one
that is passed on from the father to the son. However, some religious sects do
no encourage shaving and hence this article may be of no interest to them.
However, for those wanting to know more about shaving should read the shaving guide. Depending on the
sensitivity of your facial skin, you will have to decide on what type of razor
are you going to use to obtain a clean and smooth shave.
As per the shaving guide, shaving not only gets rid of excessive and unwanted
hair on your face, but also on any other part of your body. Yes, hair looks the
best on the place it should be, or your hair can be an unsightly site in most
of the other parts of your body. Of course, growing a beard is perfect and
looks good on some men. However, if you are shouldering a post that calls for a
neat and elegant appearance, the beard you sport will have to be trimmed and
groomed to avoid a wild and un-kept look. Mind you, the beard may not look good
on all and do not grow your beard because you have liked the look of another.
May be, you will appear best in a clean-shaven look.
Before you embark on your shaving
routine, you are supposed to prepare your skin by hydrating your skin with warm
water. Make certain that you use a non-drying shaving gel or a shaving cream.
Put the right razor to your face. The gel or cream that you use to soften the
hair also helps to protect your skin, against the cuts and the nicks. Choose
from the numerous razors from electrical to manual ones now available in the
market. The razor you select should be able to give you a clean shave requiring
less pressure and for this, multi-blade razor seems to suit the best. It is
your razor that will do the good job. Therefore, your selection of a good razor
will be very vital. As per the shaving
guide, after you have done with the shaving, rinse your skin using a good
after-shave lotion to moisturize your skin.
